Then by December 20th similar bonuses must be paid to salaried workers (1/12th of total yearly wages). An estimated 1,536,000 ticos will receive an average of c548,000 colones. Exactly how this will mesh with the December 1st MANDATORY/voluntary (wink wink, nod nod) vaccine certificate mandate is anyone's guess, but I would advise against popping into Mas x Menos for that bottle of cacique.
Expect any under capitalized businesses to be quite embarassed if they cannot pay by 20-December.
