My answer on this is that even though you didn't see it as a competitive environment for them, they did. Just because the other guys are with girls now doesn't mean that an interest won't spark and that a guy and girl won't try to hook up later. I think latin girls are in permanent competitive mode with eachother. I hope I understood the question correctly.

Latinas dont play well with each other. Its not like gringas were they have female friends for years and years. Latinas do not trust their own kind. Sometimes with good reason since it is comon for jelousy to arise between them. This leads to backstabbing, gossip and sometimes even stealing away husbands or boyfriends.

Its more comon for latinas to have male friends (platonic or not) than female friends. Ask any latina and you will see a great mayority of male friends vs female friends.

Usually if a latina has a female friends its down to one. With aquatainces for the rest. And usually (not always mind you) i tend to see good looking latina then chubby best friend.

Personally this is what i have seen in the carribean, mexico not to mention USA latin comunities. So remember there are exeptions to every rule.

That was an interesting observation. I guess I've kinda seen that myself, though I don't have as much experience with latinas like you do in PR

My observations have been the same. These latinas do not trust each other...and do rip each other off all the time. AT the strip clubs, girls are constantly getting ripped off and accusing each other. It;s dog eat dog in their world. A lot of guys ask me if my girlfriend has any "friends" to set them up with. She truly doesnt have any unattached single friends, and even her relations with "couple friends" of ours are not that close. I definitely think it a Latina thing... My girl says in general...these Ticas are ALL putas. :oops: Ouch... And she doesnt trust ANY of them with me :roll: .
