Hola: Years ago a CRT member shared a link to level 1 and level 2 Spanish from Pimsleur for free. I downloaded the CD content almost a decade ago, but have since lost it through computer crashes. Recently I tracked down the original CRT entry using search "Pimsleur". Sadly the original upload was to a "megaupload" site which no longer exists. Does any member have a file with the original Pimsleur cd post that could be re-posted here on CRT? Any other Spanish 1 and 2 program would he helpful for posting here. Thanks for the help. bstckmn

The "free" Pimsleur software that was available for download was obviously pirated. If you want free language instruction, search Youtube as there are many pretty good (and many pretty bad) sources.

Buy Rocket Spanish. You won't need any other resource. It's worth it. All 3 levels, start from the first level.
Pimsleur only got me through memorization. Didn't help that much with grammar rules, which really allows you to say anything, becuase you know how to put stuff together in a billion different sentences.

Otherwise, a couple of good youtube channels are: Dreaming Spanish or Espanol con Juan. When you hit a certain level where you understand 15 minutes worth of just talking with some struggle, google for the duo lingo podcast, and then listen to them, while you have another browser open next to it, so you can follow with the transcripts.

Try torrents, you can still get a lot via that method.
