Well said Netgems. Who is this bratty Ch*ld "ncplayer" He sure as hell is not a playa. He's only playing with himself. His daddy must not have taught the boy any manners. He might enjoy himself more somewhere other that CRT.

Hate to hear this sad news. He reached out to me like many others on my first trip to San Jose and showed me around on the great tour. Great stories, great guy great, advice and great company every time we met up after the tour.

Condolences to all family and friends.

RIP Pops

A couple of the attacks of you may be over the top, but people are upset at losing a friend. It would be kind to let them mourn. Sometimes, it is better to be kind than to be right.

I don't disagree with the assessments given above, but the sooner you guys just start ignoring the troll, the sooner he will go away and the sooner this thread can go back to what it was intended for... namely honorable remembrance of our dear friend, Pops.

I agree, friend with much wisdom, I had my say, and I bet everyone agrees.

I was a friend of Pops, and spent many a night with him at SL and Del Rey back in the day, often with another 1/2 dozen or more guys, enjoyed the comfort of numerous of his recommendations, ran into him often making my rounds downtown, I miss his calm cool collected demeaner, the twinkle in his eye, his empathy, his decency, his morality, his dry sense of humor.

I am now removing my posts, to do as you so wisely suggested, and hopefully another poster has the maturity and dignity to do the same, but I'm not holding my breath.

Wow, this is what you miss when you don't come on the board too often. I only met Pops a couple of times, but he was a nice guy who was always prepared to help someone out with info. RIP.

Pop's family in Costa Rica set up a GoFundMe to help them with living expenses. I won't post the link to avoid breaking spamming rules... but if anyone is interested, send me a PM.

THANK you Admin!!!

A shout out to the CRT members who have generously given to the GoFundMe for Pop's family. In 3 days the GoFundMe is well on its way to its fundraising goal. I was talking to Pops' widow this morning, and she cried when she realized how so many of Pops' friends helped her and her boys in their time of need.

Thank you CRT!
