One guy running a security agency wanted $5k. A bunch cheaper but all still waaaaay too much in this day of computer data bases. In the US it's called a Skip Trace, usually $125. This Tico who runs a Spy Shop with those gadgets for sale, in SJ. He got back to me in a few days with CR "address" current and for the past 5 years and all very locatable, credit, family, K*ds, cars, marriages, cell phone last 5, civil litigation, current foto. Criminal history was extra but i doubted there was one and didn't need it. A follow up with gum shoes on the ground inv $130 for an hour or so of asking q's etc. Didn't need that either, person was a very good friend, just lost touch 20 years ago.
