To be polite...NOTTT...but the price may just have gone up, so I'm not accusing her yet, but if anyone here stops in, see if it's 22k or 24k per hour.

Perhaps the word is out about your "special requests" and instead of a "locals discount", there is a "Netgems surcharge". After all, the maid has to clean that stuff up. :mrgreen:

I did rip one of the chandeliers out of the ceiling swinging on it once...

Great news about Robert!

I met him several times and enjoyed talking not just about the biz but other parts of CostaReeker. He worked in the jungle above Puerto Viejo de Talamanca for a resort before his current occupation.

I don't get why any gringo would ever get involved in that business knowing that it's a grey area, and depending on the prosecutor's mood that day or how much pressure they get from the people with money in charge, they can be arrested and charged with pimping and even if they get off, they'll spend 12-18+ months in a 3rd world shithole prison waiting for trial. No way they will get bail if they're a foreigner.

For the glory and the romance? Perhaps to fulfill a childhood dream? Maybe to meet a nice girl at work? Why would a real man go into finance and live the work life of a eunuch? :P

I went to Monicas today with Robert right by the cashier. She said 24k and I had to hand it to the girl and not her.Bottle of water, the girl got her cut and off to the room.
