Does anyone know if the travel guard insurance United offers when you book a flight is valid for CR?? it's $29 when booking a flight

I would doubt they have the specific Covid coverages required by Costa Rica particularly the $2000 accomodation coverage if you require quarantine while in the country.

You can always try to get it approved but there are some pretty cheap options for short stays like Trawick that we know are approved. I wouldn't risk getting held up at immigration for a small amount of money.
