Yesterday schools reopened here in pair-o-dice with 1.2 million students called to in-person classes. Some of the usually requirements for supplies and uniforms were suspended because parents couldn't afford them. Traffic in San Pedro was snarled worse than usual.
The National RescueMovement announced they will resume blockades and protests next Monday over the 1.75 billion IMF deal. In October they caused some trouble including service molotov cocktails to the police. It is unclear how disruptive this will be. The Legislature is supposed to vote on this by early June and this is an election year.
