A “friend” of mine just sent me a message saying that the Del Rey was going to open back up in February..I don’t know if it’s with new owners or what...also not sure if it’s going to be like it was (though the person who told me said more than likely it would be)...anyone else know/hear anything??..I wouldn’t post BS on here, I trust my source that this was discussed.

I won’t believe any of these rumors until I am actually sitting at the bar again with beer in hand after being short changed and being asked “where yu fron “ several times in succession by multiple chicas.

From a fiscal standpoint, that would be money well spent by the cr government.

Nothing like $1.75 BILLION in fresh cash during a Tico election year.

When IMF funding was last discussed in September there were road blockades, protests in the street, fire bombing of police, weeping and gnashing of teeth in the legislature. So much so that the Executive quietly shelved the hole thing. In usual style, a series of public meetings where held where nothing substantive was discussed, closed talks were held with the IMF, and now an "agreement in principle" has been reached. The current folks will be able to tout the "success" and leave the "austerity measures" to the next folks. A case of "Eat your cake and let the next guy have the sugar crash".

It will not impact the supply or price of pu*sy. It may impact high roller expats and digital nomads. It will crush holders of domestic debt as the government refinances these with Eurobonds. Global Income is probably an unstoppable trend throughout Latin America and there are ways to adjust to it.

Big John passed away a long time ago. He has a daughter who is involved but I'm not sure how much.

I am here right now, walked by the Del Rey yesterday, February 11, and it looks like it was locked up how ever there was a guy sitting inside but I did not try to go in or even see if the doors were actually locked. Zero activity at what so ever except for the guy sitting inside probably a security guard or something.
