I have noticed that the Costa Rica covid reporting site delfino.cr went silent after December 1. As of today ( December 8 ), it has been a full week since the covid numbers have been updated when they had previously been updated every 24 hours. See https://delfino.cr/2020/03/covid-19-en-costa-rica I also haven't seen the Tico Times reporting any statistics recently either. Does anyone know the reason for this? Certainly it's not because covid has suddenly gone away in CR. Coincidence that this corresponds with the beginning of "high season"? |

Today's Tico Times reporting that US CDC is advising all US citizens to avoid all travel to Costa Rica. https://ticotimes.net/2020/12/09/cdc-ad ... e-to-covid (It's interesting that by comparison, however, Costa Rica's covid numbers are better than many US states at the moment.) |
