From Terra Noble Vineyards in Chile.

It was $43 and it is drinking very well right now! One of the best and smoothest bottles of wine I can remember enjoying in Costa Rica.

Terra Noble, Carmenere Andes CA1, 2015

"Grown in the warm Andes foothills of the Colchagua valley, CA1 is a Carmenere of great character and power. This is a rich wine, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit. The round tannins, together with the lush concentration of the fruit on the palate reveals to us the best expression of Carmenere grown at the foot of the Andes Mountain. " :D

Fresh Markets, a chain similar to Whole foods, has fresh French Baguettes, Blue Cheese, and a decent selection of Italian meets to compliment such a bottle. 8)

Desfrutar :D

(foot note: I asked the Duty Free Wine Specialist for a recommendation and he picked it out. It was also marked down)
