There are MANY BCR branches in San Jose qnd they are all open. |

I always go to the BCR in the INS building. Just take the escalator to the 2nd floor. |

FYI, there are ATMs on the second floor too. I use those instead of the ones on the street just to be sure no one is looking to follow me when I leave the ATM. |

+100. Great place. +1000 reasons to pay in colones! Another place I used was hospital near La Amistad - but was a hassle. Plenty of ATM's on central - but you have to look over your shoulder. .but INS second floor best place. Down hill on way to HDR at park. Very cool place. Lots of regular Tica's in very high heels cruising around looking busy on the second floor. |
