I refrained from making this post for a long time out of fear from negative reactions or being banned from this forum (Is promotion of other destinations allowed? If not, can I have the opportunity to delete this post before I'm banned?) But I see a lot of people making comments to the effect of "we're trapped in pu*sy prison here in the USA" or "No opportunities for pu*sy here in the USA". Well, this is literally not true. There are plenty of women here in the USA. However, if you are referring to opportunities for pay for play, American citizens can enter Mexico at Tijuana and there is plenty of pay for play available there. I've made 2 trips there already this summer and am going again in a few days. The strip clubs/brothels there, such as Hong Kong and other clubs in zona norte were operating in a clandestine manner, but I think they got shut down. However, the girls in front of the hotels are available, escort agencies are available, and then companions are selling their time on the internet and via apps such as telegram and probably even tinder, if that's what you're into. Also, most restaurants and stores are open. Movie theaters just opened there. The beaches are now open as well. Personally, even in normal times, I've come to enjoy Tijuana more than San Jose. There is just so much to do there...besides pay for play. Believe it or not, I'm not encouraging others to come to Tijuana in this crazy time. But I want to dispel the idea that pay for play is only available in Costa Rica and if you can't be there, you're out of luck. Then again, I get the impression that most people here are in Florida, other parts of the SE USA, New York and other places east of the Mississippi river. In that case, it may be easier to get to Costa Rica in normal times than to Tijuana.....but if you find yourself really depressed at not getting any pay for play, it is not true that you have no options. Just saying.

Responses via this thread or PMs are welcome and fine whether you agree or disagree. However, I don't see why I should respond to posts full of personal/ad hominem attacks. Life is preciously short....and way too short to engage in pissing matches on the internet. I hope this is helpful

So TJ has street walkers, escort agencies, and Tinder, it kinda sounds like Tampa or Des Moines, except for the Movie theaters.

With all due respect, I have a slight disagreement with you. I've never seen a street walker in Tijuana. Las Paraditas stand in front of cheap hotels. That's exactly what they do. They don't go walking the streets and begging men to screw them for money. At least I've never seen that happen. Many of them are quite pretty, but they usually don't offer GFE. Pay for play via escort agencies, internet, Tinder, apps etc in Tijuana is much cheaper and the chicas are hotter than their counterparts in the USA.

Trust me, Tijuana is a lot more exciting than Tampa, Des Moines, and most other places in the USA depending on what you're into of course. Des Moines probably has Tijuana beat as far as proximity to amish or Mennonite colonies, if that's what you're into. :-)

"OK, Street standers then."

That's more accurate....or simply street girls.

Of course the BIG difference is legal standing of p4p in USA vs almost anywhere in the world. Every monger has to judge for themselves where to play the game. TJ is certainly an option for those in the US. Being in CR, I'm in no hurry to leave.

And while I am not particularly into Amish girls, if you catch the right one during Rumspringa watch-out 8) . But be forewarned, these girls don't shave .... anywhere.

You hit it right on the head. The activities of which we have spoken are very risky in the USA and I would say not worth it. It's best to be a law-abiding citizen....and contrary to the uninformed claims of many ignorant people in the USA, there are several things illegal in both Mexico and Costa Rica concerning the sex industry, as they should be.

Do you Taxi in TJ or is there a better way to cross border ? Where are the best places to go for the chicas ? Any help appreciated. Was in CR in March and was gonna move down in June, looks like thats on hold for quite awhile. Thanks for any help

I like to stay at Hotel Ticuan--it is about a ten minute walk or so to "La zona"--take a cab at night, for sure. It is escort friendly. For chicas in clubs, Adelitas, Hong Kong, and then Chicago are the top ones normally--it ebbs and flows.

Do take yourself to Mision 19 for one of the best meals in North America. In general, the food is great, both in terms of street food and higher end places--it has actually become one of the key culinary hubs in Mexico There are great Tequila bars, straight discos and clubs, a thriving arts and cultural scene, and a lot of really neat stuff if you are interested in exploring non mongering things. Beaches super close buy. A day trip to Tecate. There are also kind of cool tours you can do through trip advisor or other tour sites--the history of the place is pretty amazing, actually.

Oh, and as mentioned, with the escort scene is very, very good--I think that two hours is the sweet spot there.

Mind you, my info is about two years old, so some of this varies. I rate TJ just below San Jose on my list of mongering spots, both of which rank in the middle of the thirty or so places I have been. I have stayed for. week in TJ alone, and found plenty to do and plenty chicas to Phuck.

Cheers.

Let me first make it clear that it's not the ideal time to visit Tijuana, as you won't be getting the full experience that you would be getting in normal times. That said, Americans can enter and there is plenty of opportunities for fun there in sex tourism and non-sex tourism related activities. As far as getting to Tijuana, I fly to San Diego, then at the San Diego airport, I take an uber to the pedestrian border crossing. I enter Tiuana on foot and once I cross the border, I take an uber to my hotel. Like Costa Rica, Uber is very cheap in Mexico (Uber is the only cheap thing in Costa Rica). I pretty much use uber to get around when I'm there. I've stayed at 3 different hotels in Tijuana, Hotel Ticuan, Ibis hotel, and Ceasar's hotel. They're all very nice and very reasonably priced. There are a lot of other nice options at cheap reasonable prices. I doubt many of these reasonable prices would be found in Costa Rica. By the way, Ceasar's hotel and restaurant is where the ceaser salad was invented. No joke.

For chicas, I assume you mean pay for play, right? Well, there is the famous Zona Norte, which is the red light district with the strip clubs/brothels, of which Hong Kong's is the most famous. The girls there are Gorgeous....even better looking quality than SL or Del Rey. Why? Someone else here said it best, at those places in San Jose, the girls are just coming from San Jose or surrounding areas. At the places in Tijuana, girls come from all over Mexico to work there. Hong Kong's does tend to be the most expensive, though. But when it comes to the clubs/brothels in zona norte, I would suggest checking out each one to find which suites your preference. However,we are not in normal times. Therefore many of the clubs had to operate in a secret manner due to COVID restrictions, but they have been shut down. However, I heard a few have opened up again (secretly)....but it won't be the same experience as you'd get in normal times. However, the chicas who stand in front of the hotels in zona norte are very much available. Just don't count on getting GFE from them.

If the club/bar girls aren't your thing, there are plenty of escort agencies available. That is a huge difference from Costa Rica. Escort agencies are fairly popular in Mexico. They tend to be more expensive than club or street girls in Zona Norte....but they are MUCH more likely to give GFE. And then of course, there is the internet and apps, such as telegram and tinder. Also, I know many people here speak about skokka for Costa Rica. There is a skokka for Tijuana as well.

Another big difference between Tijuana and San Jose/Jaco is that I have never been to or heard of a hotel in Tijuana that prohibits guests or charges you to bring one up to your room. That's one thing I hate about Costa Rica and I'm glad that it doesn't happen in Tijuana. I almost feel like the hotels there actually value their guests who are there for sex tourism.

So, is it the ideal time to visit Tijuana? No, but it's not terrible. A lot of stuff is open and plenty of pay for play is available. Still, It would be regrettable if one formed their opinion on Tijuana based on visiting it during this abnormal time.....because right now you would't be getting the full Tijuana experience.

@Wannabee

TJ very good. I am considering it too when AA contacts me soon or I them that my 6 Sept. trip to SJO is a no go.

Some caution though if you are into the party bar atmosphere thing. The makeshift setups HK etc. have setup are COVID petri dishes (no ventilation, cramped quarters etc.). Read CAPT Solo's posts there, very entertaining and relevant up to date including COVID safety concerns.

Just go to ISG threads and so much info. on TJ with current multiple new posts each day. Please report back and let us know your analysis.

This is true. I can testify to it firsthand. If you are the type that is taking maximum COVID precautions, then you will want to stay away from these places in Tijuana. If you don't care about Covid precautions, these places are available for your pleasure.

Thanks everyone for the valuable info. I do not throw caution to wind on covid. The info you all gave me will be valuable to me once I go to TJ. But I will wait until things relax because I do want to be able to cross the border both ways without a problem. Thanks Guys

I really do miss TJ ALOT. Only a 5 hr drive from Vegas. Got sad reading this thread because of all the fun there.
Started going to TJ in 1998, probably 3 or 4 times a yr. It felt like home to me when I was there, so did SJO.
Hotel Ceasar is my place of choice to stay, great food and drinks. Clean and quiet place. $55.00 per night.
Most of the rooms were remolded and have a safe in them, staff is friendly. 15 minute walk to the zona. Favorite breakfast place is The Placita, just down 2 blocks, awesome breakfast for 9 bucks. Get a legit massage for 25 bucks at Serenity just across the street, really good massage. Then at evening time HK, Adelita and Tropical are my favorite clubs to hang out. So many hot chicas to choose from. Perfect 3 day trip!! Hope to get back next yr.

I'm staying at Caesar's this time. Believe it or not, I got it for $43 a night! It's usually pretty cheap. I should check out those massage places you mentioned, if they're open.

I'm not encouraging or discouraging you to go, but I do have a sincere question or two. Are you worried about getting into Mexico? Are you worried about getting back into the US? I assume you're a U.S. citizen and have a passport. If so, our customs officers have to let you back in. The most they do to me when I enter Mexico on foot is take my temperature. Their customs officers are relaxed. Hell, at least twice, I think, they've just waved me across and didn't request documentation. My buddy who drives across has told me that there have been times when he's not even stopped crossing into Tijuana. This is not true of all border crossings. The crossing at Mexicali and in Sonora are much more strict. Perhaps in Tijuana, gringo money is too important to turn away.
