miller or such at like del rey and key largo
and some the places like arcades...thanks

they are way higher than in a local bar.

You may not find US beer, if you do expect to pay around a 1000 colones per each, maybe more.

I know at DR and KL local beer is around 950 colones.

Sounds good , I don't drink much imported , but me thinks it's around 1200-1300 for the euro's and Corona.

I stopped being a regular at the DR when Jay told me that a soda water was
from the gun, not a bottle and cost the same as a beer. Don't get me wrong, I drink a lot, but I like to spread them out. Since the brothers went down, I didn't see many of the folks I was looking for anyway. The NY Bar is OK, but I only visit there about once a week, at most. I go to Colombian or Tico places that cost about half as much, more often than not. SL is near where I stay and gives me all the gringo contact I could want, with less hassle.
