There is another thread that asks, but the title does not mention his name, so I worry it might be passed over. Does anyone have any recent word about or from Vegas Bob? He is the first person I met hobbying in San Jose over 15 years ago--many of us have soft spots in our hearts for him, and hope he is ok. |

I sent a message to another CRT member and told him about that other post and asked him if he knew anything about it. He looked into it and got back to me. He said he talked with Vegas Bob and VB said that he is still alive....and that VB has never lied to him. The rumors appear to be false. |

I can remember when I visited the Del Rey anytime from 2004 - 2011 Vegas Bob was always there. |

About 10 years ago VB was talking to me and a friend at HDR, I spotted a cute spinner, commented, VB knew her, had her, recommended her, called her over to the table and introduced her to me, that little spinner could take a hard pounding with the best of them, thanks VB!
