Hi. Just letting you all know it took almost an one hour + 10 minutes Tuesday morning to get from Castillo to the airport. We saw several platoons of protesting taxi drivers cruising along the way, one of them quite large. Fortunately the tolls were waived and the Fuerza Publica cordoned off entry into airport for only vehicles carrying passengers. Also Fuerza Publica were seen on motorcycles along the route to "herd" the taxis into an orderly flow only blocking 2 of the 3 lanes. Think most here are in agreement why they protesting, I just posting this to let you know to add more time to get to the airport. |
