We obviously all love the "massages" we get at the MP's, but I want to hook up with a good professional massage next time I go, that does not have the "sex premium" attached to it. I would think we could get great massages for a fraction of the going rate up here.

Any ideas or contacts?

Dont be so sure it would be cheeper. Real massages are done by professionals that cater to the wealthy so you might be paying more than less.

Go to any MP. Just let them know you aren't interested in the sexo. You want the full hour of massage. They have no problem with that. And I have found a few really good girls at ZB who give GREAT massages. Paola is great and so is Michelle. I'd give the nod to Paola if I had to chose. Very strong hands.

What is the story on the place across from the Dunn Inn? Its sign indicated that it is a real therapeutic massage place, but I've never been inside. Since so many people seem to be staying at the Amon Plaze, somebody must have checked it out.

I paid $20 for a full hour massage in San Joaquin. It's half way between Alajuela and Heredia and definately off the gringo trail.

So that's what Ticos will pay for an hour massage which you can use as a basis of comparison. I sorts like the sex aspect of the massage.

The place across from Dunn Inn has moved. The woman`s name is Marta and she has relocated to Calle Blancos. Her telephone # is on the door of the old place across from Dunn Inn. She gives a professional deep tissue massage for $50 per hour. She somehow managed to heal a chronic sore shoulder for me. I highly recommend her.
