Today, I got an email from Le Bar Medellin promoting their July 4 party. It starts at 3:00pm and runs until closing. The general price is 250,000 COP or around $80 US. Guests get a discount of about $7.00. Food and Liquor. No mention of any raffles, prizes, or sports pools. Perhaps you can even watch the Boston Pops on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
I imagine it will be a blast, if you are in Medellin. By comparison, the Sportsmens signature party, the Superbowl, runs $65 with a 10% CRT discount and included $13,500 in raffles, prizes, and sports pools. Oh, and there was also something on TV.
Not to diss Le Bar, I am sure it will be a blast. I just wanted to highlight the value the SL provides.
