I've lost a lot of weight since my last trip in November. I still need to lose a bunch more, so on my next trip this October, I'd like to at least be able to maintain.

My question is, obviously there are plenty of fresh fruits and veggies around and real whole grain breads, but I wonder if the larger grocery stores will carry things like 80 calorie yogurt, All Bran or Fiber One cereal, and almond milk. Also, will be looking for protien shakes like Boost or Premier Protien, as I'm not sure I can bring those from the US, or I could bring protien shake powder if need be.

If the stores don't carry the 80 cal yogurts, do they have any type of fat free greek yogurt? I am particularly fond of Fage 0%.

AutoMercado is going to be your best bet as Boynton pointed out. The prices are a fair amount higher than other stores, but you will find things there others do not have. In Costa Rica it is known as the Gringo Store. The only other place I know of that has an incredible selection of items that are typically found in the US, and at much cheaper prices, is on the border of Panama.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure that between AutoMercado and Wal-Mart, I'll be able to find what I need.
