Today, I got an email from Le Bar Medellin promoting their July 4 party. It starts at 3:00pm and runs until closing. The general price is 250,000 COP or around $80 US. Guests get a discount of about $7.00. Food and Liquor. No mention of any raffles, prizes, or sports pools. Perhaps you can even watch the Boston Pops on the National Mall in Washington D.C. I imagine it will be a blast, if you are in Medellin.

By comparison, the Sportsmens signature party, the Superbowl, runs $65 with a 10% CRT discount and included $13,500 in raffles, prizes, and sports pools. Oh, and there was also something on TV.

Not to diss Le Bar, I am sure it will be a blast. I just wanted to highlight the value the SL provides.

I wouldn't imagine you could watch the Boston Pops on the National Mall in D.C., unless you got a tv, as they always play in BOSTON, on the 4th of July. Second of all, the party is on Sunday June 30 so there will no viewing of the Boston Pops anywhere.

Will certainly agree with ya about the comparative value of the respective parties. I made the super bowl bash @ the SL for the 2nd time this year & $65 was a bargain for all the food, drink, prizes, entertainment & just plain fun I had.
