Post subject: | Is Wanda Costa Rica's National Treasure? |
Hey Guys, I haven’t posted any question lately so I thought I would enquire about a CRT Favorita I know you all love and enjoy seeing. I am curious about the lovely Wanda of Zona Blue fame now located at the great Sportsman Lodge. I try to read all of the post and I know that she is loved and admired by all here on CRT. My question is, what is her history and or background. Was she a favorite provider way back when or has she always been a management type. Why haven’t one of you hound dogs made a Novia of her. What I have gathered by the comments made here and by the few pictures I have seen of her, Wanda should be nominated as Costa Rica’s National Treasure. I would be interested in hearing a few Wanda stories from you veterans. Thanks for the info. Apparition |

I don't know her story but she doesn't seem like she would have been a former pro. She is a very sweet and professional and anyone is lucky to have her working for them. One thing all the Sportsmen;s employees have. They are very friendly and service oriented. |

Met Wanda about 2 years ago then working at New Fantasy.. Funny she has the same short haircut now that she does then.... Was probably the most popular lady in the history of NF and without created a tremendous persona with many of our members during that time period. Was glad to see her when she moved over and was managing ZB & stopped in last weekend to say hello to her at the SL. She looks great and I have no idea if she has a Novio or not, but she is just still one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. |

Actually it is me. And yes, she is Costa Rica's national treasure. She did what she did for a year or so, then Eddy at ZB gave her an opportunity to manage his great place, and now Bill from Sportsman's has given her an opportunity to be one of the managers at his great place. I see in so many recent reports that she is always mentioned respectfully (with the exception of Latino's link). I know that your respect of her on your posts is appreciated by her. Please continue. |

I was lucky to have met Wanda at NF and then again when she was working at ZB. I walked down to the Sportsman Lodge Sunday and was pleasantly greeted by the beautiful smiling Wanda. She showed me an open room and said that she was doing well and happy. It was good to see Wanda again and the Sportsman Lodge seems great. |

Just watch... in another year, she'll be running the whole damn country. And probably doing a better job of it. And we'll all say, "I knew her when..." |

I thought that Wanda was married to a Tico. When I met her, a year and a half ago, she told that she had a "banned word" one. She was great at what she did and very sweet. I'm glad she's doing fine, and if she finds somebody to take care of her, that would be a very lucky guy! |

I was wondering how long it would take before this topic was explored here. I have always admired Wanda as the consumate professional, whether as provider, teacher or manager. I'd like to think everyone on this board would wish her success in her new challenges and let the past be the past. Let's look forward and wish her all the best - that is what she always strived for. |

I am beginning to regret my open curiosity of this lovely lady. I have heard nothing but great things about her. I know that she is much loved, admired and most of all respected by all that mention her on this forum. I do not want to see that diminished in any way. Nor do I believe there would be any reason to do so. I must admit I was curious of her past and how she came to Zona Blue. I was curious if she was at one time an admired provider. It turns out she was. This does not diminish the love, admiration and respect she whole heartedly receives and deserves. If anything her experiences lend credence to the wonderful woman she is and may be a part of why she is so openly admired. She may understand us far better than we understand our selves. I am happy to hear that she has special man in her life. I hope my open curiosity about her doesn’t cause any disruption in their relationship. There has been much conversation about trying to have a relationship with a provider or former provider. The comments I have heard here on this forum would suggest that many would go out on a limb for Wanda. She may be the exception to the rule. Since I don’t really know her I am just speculating. Wanda is obviously now one of the Sportsman’s Lodge’s greatest assets. Those who know her are anxious to visit with her and spend time at the Lodge whether it be for a few drinks or stay for several days. I am impressed that people want to make a point to see her. I am a rookie here and I have yet to make my first visit to Costa Rica. Someday soon I hope. But I must say that Wanda is on my top 5 people list that I look forward to meeting. Simply because she has been described by all as a total Sweetheart. Big Hug and Kisses for you Wanda, Apparition |

So is the wonderful seniorita that works at the American Airlines counter. BFD?!? Time to get out of Mom's basement and start interacting with REAL PEOPLE. |
