For you cigar aficionados out there, we ha acquired boxes of very limited edition Cohiba Talisman. Boxes of 10 are $1000.00.

For that price, you can go to Cuba with a humanitarian group, vacation & bring back your own Cubans!

$100US is a normal price for a Cohiba Talisman anywhere, whether or not you want to pay that much for a cigar is another matter. Havana Humidor has a wide selection of cigars for any taste or budget. You want an econo-stick if good quality, Bruce has them. You want to splurge on your vacation, you can do that also. You can't expect Jim Beam prices for a taste of Blanton's.

Where are you located? I am coming down the end of March? Is this the shop located in the Zona Blue building?
Cheers from Bourbon Country,

Yes, you are correct about the location. See you soon and we can burn a stick together.

Anywhere includes Cuba. There are no bargains in Havana. Don’t book a trip there thinking you can pick up great cigars cheap. They may be socialist/communist, but they know the premium their cigars command. Official prices in Havana are close to Toronto, or San Jose. Of course you can buy “Cuban cigars” on the street, but they have the same possibility of being genuine as the guys selling outside SL, zero.

FYI: Most limited editions (including all Behikes) are not available in Cuba. But because the Havana Humidor Rom is a Habanos Specialist store, we have access to all the limited additions. We also carry many Cuban cigars that are much less money.

I'm not a cigar expert, but I've smoked many Cubans, and you can get in Costa Rica Nicaraguan cigars, allegedly from Cuban seed, that have that strong dry robust special taste.

If you're an expert and a purist and loaded, ignore this thread and blow whatever you want on Cubans, but if you're an average Joe who occasionally smokes a cigar and wants to know what a Cuban may taste like, or close enough for the working stiff, they're quite good and very cheap.
