Post subject: | One Night Jaco Transportation??? |
What is the best way these days to get down to Jaco for about 4 to 6 hours one night. I'm coming down for a bachelor party in November. I've not been outside San Jose on any of my previous trips. I'll be coming with friends this time. I have my best friend, and maybe one other convinced to stay at Sportsmen's Lodge. The problem is, the majority of the group, and the ones setting up the party, are insisting on getting an Airbnb in Jaco and having the party down there. What would be the best way for my two friends and I to get from San Jose to Jaco and back that night for the party. I don't want to stay in Jaco that night, as this trip I plan to actually get out and do some of the tours. I would like to maximise my time in San Jose. |

La Amistad can arrange transportation. I think for about $120 the guy will take you there and wait there until you are ready to return. I assume Uber could do the same but I prefer someone I know is reliable like the guys that drive for LA. I know there may be cheaper options but why pinch pennies on vacation when it could impact your experience? |

I can help you here. Book la amistad or Castillo. Make sure your stay is at least 4 days. They arrange cheap transportation to Jaco in between stays. $25 if more than one each way. Super cheap and realiable drivers. You will also get a free cab to the airport back. Save $30. Do all inclusive even if you want to eat at other places, no problem. Get a couple of beers or a water and you get your al inclusive plan back. No brainer! Just deal with some other noise, but use air plugs or figure it out on your own! No brainer! |
