That's all messed up. Seen that kind of phuckin attitude in CR for sure and other countries down there. Is why even in SJO I try and always stay around plenty of people cause many of them would help. Brian not too remote but apparently no one else saw it to render aid. |

Another reason that I would never live in CR. Also, a good reason not to drive after dark. |

Happens in the USA all the time. And pretty much everywhere else. The guy who saw him first thought it was a trap set up by robbers and kept going and called the police from what I read. Blame an entire country and its people? ![]() Stupidity beyond comprehension.... ![]() |

You take the risk, sometimes the result is negative. Guy looked like he was enjoting life...his number came up. Anyone drive on these backcountry Costa Rica tracks ? You know what they are like. Expect a emergency response team ready to save your ass if something goes wrong ? In Costa Rica? ![]() |

I was advised to leave early on trips in Costa Rica especially during the rainy season. I guess this is why I got that advice. The police have a better chance of helping someone in the early part of the day. |

If so who is really stupid for not reading the whole sentence? Wasn't referring to you. Whenever there's a murder of a gringo (usually one involved in some type of crime) or a robbery, I hear "That's why I wouldn't live there" from different people. Where are they going to go for safety? Chicago? I've lived in Miami, L.A., Long Beach, Denver, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Cincinnati, (job assignments) and visited numerous big USA cities and feel safer walking around San Jose, even at night, than I would in any of those cities... |
