Hey, I was recently in New Fantasy, had a wonderful times (several times, to be exact) and had a conversation with my massuese. She was asking me if I could tell counterfit bills, and I thought she meant colones. My spanish is still weak, so I wasn't sure but it seemed important to her so I kept after it although she wanted to drop it. I finally realized that she wanted me to look at a bill for her and tell her if it was real or not. She then went and got one of the other massueses that had just recieved a $50 bill from a gringo, and sure enough, it was a bad fake. They told me that someone had recently given out a fake $100 bill to another girl there. Evid. the girl had been pretty excited when she recieved the bill until one of the other girls told her that she should check it out, it seemed fake to her. And it was a really bad fake. Whoever is doing this, I hope that one night you find yourself in your local jail for something stupid, and you spend the night getting ass-raped by the local chapter of Bloods, Crips, Nortenos, whoever is your local flavor of serious thug. That's all. |

Not doubting your story, but... this seems strange. Do you pay the girls directly at NF or pay the managment? If you pay the chicas, maybe they could be duped, however- If not and these were such obvious bad fakes I find it hard to believe the Mgmt. would accept them, or the girls for that matter. Or were they given to the chicas as a propina? (not likely) Any U.S. bills I have used in CR are studied VERY closely no matter where it was. And don't they have a security camera at NF at the entrance? A pic would make this gringo easy to identify. |

Paco, I remember the last time I was at NF where either you or the girl pays the front desk to rent the room only. Then whatever happens between two consenting legal aged adults is up to them. Those counterfeit bills are not ethical in my opinion. |

These were given to the girls as tips. I think some of these girls might be easily duped, they see a $50 or $100, want to believe it's real, only later realize they've been tricked. It just pisses me off that someone is doing this to these girls, who, granted, are not all angels, but most of them are very sweet to us and don't deserve this behavior. I encouraged them to go up the the DR and look for the guy that did this. It would be easy enough for them to find the guy, send a girl in to lure him out under the retense of a "freebie" and deal with him outside. Maybe they will get smart and deal sith these fools, who knows. |

It takes a pretty sick person to risk arrest and prosecution for passing phoney bills in a situation where it is being used for a propina when one isn't even required. Let's hope that if this story is real,the assholes get a real surprise one of these days. Since the girls are not doing anything illegal,they should report them to the police. |
