Hes been free from costa rica since sept and has already been to Havana and Medellin since...
Hes writing a book on his experiences and will probably be featured on a Locked Up Abroad...

im not a fan, nor am i a hater of Cuba Dave... i found his videos entertaining, and his conversation interesting...
I just find it intriguing how quickly a person can bounce back into life after false imprisonment and when a ton of people hate him.... seems like since getting freed in september, his life is alot more interesting than most people i know

False imprisonment?

Saw Dave recently in MDE. He looks a bit thin but otherwise pretty good for his age and after 500 plus days in jail. Where’s his buddy Dan who took the videos and fotos? Buena pregunta.

He said something a little chilling. When he was being interrogated, they showed him a list of CRT members from those with the most posts on down. They demanded to know the identity of everyone so they could prosecute them as sex offenders. Said he didn’t give anyone up.

Looks like he will quietly write his book and stay under the radar.

I believe I read article that he inherited a few bucks from his parents. Nothing substantial , still lives hand to mouth and on the generosity of others.

How much you want to bet he writes a self published book that is self aggrandizing, self pitting, and bragging of his exploits, which he will then make very, very public in countries that can easily identify him upon entry? The fact that some people saw this idiot as innocent just don't get it-just the kind of guy who will continue to create problems for those who hobby. Under/over for winding back in jail or getting killed within three years?

Again, bad combo..make money off of sex tourism....promote yourself on the web....have no discretion..... Think of this list of mongers that this applies to that went over the rails in Peru, the PI, CR or Colombia.

Time will tell what Dave will do in Colombia, but I got the feeling that at this stage he just wants to be a humble casa guy, with a few favoritas and enjoy his twilight years out of trouble. There are instructive lessons about how NOT to behave in Colombia: Noah, Jake, etc. I would certainly be valuing my freedom if I was in his shoes right now.

I wouldn’t want to travel with him lol. But would definitely buy him dinner in key west to hear some Cuba stories.

And one more thing. I knew it was complete bull shit from the beginning. Read the whole thing. He mght have a case against these people if true. What they did was illegal.

I fail to see all the hatred spewing forth. I certainly don't admire the guy but he doesn't seem to have broken any serious laws. This reads like a bunch of liberals going after gun owners or Hillary going after conservatives. When there are no serious arguments you form the lowest form-personal attacks.
