Just wondering how the HDR would compare to York Nightclub or Cyclone Club in Dubai ?
Had a great time in Dubai with all the different nationalities available.
Chinese for a snack and then some Russian for dinner.

Interesting thing about Cyclone was there was a line painted down the center on the floor
and the Chinese ladies were not allowed to cross it unless it was with a male customer.

I'd say its more a matter of legality. In Dubai, a Muslim country, 'fornication' between foreigners (and with foreigners) is ignored in certain places (someone reports they were raped, and then the non-fun begins). The authorities usually ignore even unmarried Western couples but there have been arrests.

Mongering in Dubai is like playing Russian Roulette with a revolver someone tells you is unloaded. And then one time it isn't.

In Costa Rica, its legal.

And its cheaper.

I'd also add that another major difference is human trafficking.

While it does happen in Costa Rica, most working girls in Costa Rica are not trafficked (hired in foreign countries for 'modeling jobs' or whatever and then forced into involuntary sex servitude by gangsters). They may feel they have to due to the economy, poor life choices or whatever (or not).

And yes, in Dubai there are some girls there of their own free will. But not the majority. Which is why the State Department says Dubai is a 'tier 2' human trafficking country (they do it with more than prostitutes - lots of Filipinos and Bangladeshis, etc. kept in virtual slavery).

In Costa Rica you do find situations like the one in 2016 where a local place out in San Ramón & La Fortuna had 13 girls (from Nicaragua) locked up in 'cribs' where the girls had been lured in with promises of legitimate jobs, but they are uncommon. That's why the San Ramon incident made the news.

In the gulf states slavery is alive and well.
The western world pretends all is normal because of the oil wealth .
The State Dept. piously makes reports but does not have the guts to call them out and put sanctions on them.

Not just the Gulf States. KSA, Yemen, Sudan, and sub-Saharan Africa. Among others.
