Months fly by but our Posts get better and better. Some great stuff, with many a newbies trip reports qualifying in my opinion. Some foks nomininated posts inside the thread itself, I would appreciate if you would post them here as I haven no time to go back over them and check them out so please NOMINATE YOUR FAVORITE! Must agree Hands-Solo and his airport experience was way too much. Has to be post of the month. Would have been even better if the gringa had taken him up on the use of the pocket rocket. Nahhhhhhhhhhh save it for the ticas!!!!!!!!!!! |

I would like to nominate Chicagoguy for his Trip report and Joltin Joe.. Both 1st timers took the time to read the board, ask pertinent questions then apply themselves... Good writing about the trip etc..... That has to stand for soemthing! Good stuff guys. |

I would like to nominate Semicharmed's trip a report.It was one of the best written trip reports I have read.Just enough information to cover the details but not so much as to be long or boring at all.He obviously did his homework well and had a great trip for a newbie.rbc100 |

I would like to place in Nomination for Januay Post of the Month, our long contributing member, Prolijo for his insightful and relevant post regarding "Marvin at the Presidente" posted Jan 8th. It wasn't written to make us laugh, but rather to make us think. Everyone who read it should re-read it again and remember why we go to CR. Ye Old Man, I agree with your assesment of Prolijo posts. He's one of my favorite posters as well. And, having met him in person one time, his demeanor is just the same in person as it is in his posts. I'm a fan of thought provoking posts. dapanz1 |
