Give it 72 hours to wash. Credit charges can sometimes be duplicated, but when the vendor sends the settlement to the clearing house (for actual payment), this is when it either clears off your statement or actually gets debited. As for your email to customer service, they may only see the single charge, because that is what their system 'thinks' that it sent.
