It usually doesn't though. :x Bad people usually get away with the bad things they do. Karma doesn't exist, it's something people want to believe to make themselves feel better after being wronged.

I don't believe in any kind of mystical bullshit, but I do think the concept of karma makes sense.

When you treat people well, and do the right thing, good things tend to happen. It's not a 1:1 exact kind of relationship, but in my experience it works out that way.

A person may get away with a robbery, or murder, but I don't believe they have a good life, it's not possible when you hate what you look at in the mirror every day.

I have worked with a lot of top salespeople over the years, and all the very best ones were charming, optimistic, and never made enemies. They treated everyone well, and got paid back in spades.

You make your own luck, is another way to put it.

having said that, I still kicked the ass (figuratively speaking)of an argentine taxi driver who tried to rip me off. The $40 he tried to take me for cost him 10 times that in car repairs too, maybe a lot more heheh. From the back seat I kicked his gearshift so hard it snapped, and then left him with a huge dent in his rear fender after I got out.

I'm not a one to get into a fight with anyone, let alone thieving taxi drivers, but this guy was smaller than me, and being argentine I knew he was all show and no go.

I don't think I'd mess with a Colombian taxi driver, and luckily have never had to.

It's a philosophical position…but, in the long run it works. It all evens out in life, given enough time.

I think the wisest rule (or the simplest religion) is the golden rule: Do unto others as you would like done unto you. Without any ties to any religious background.

If everybody lived by this simple rule, in all aspects of life, the world would be very, very different…and for the better!

I don't think it is a good idea to mess around in Buenos Aires these days!
