Heading down to SJO end of the month, but tired of the one night and MP quickie scene. This time I would prefer to spend a day or two with a chica going around town and unloading when back in the hotel. I have done this type of LT mongering in asian countries and they were the best memories I have.

Any tips on where I can find chicas who would hang out long term and how I can go about negotiating a fair donation for the same?

They are around but you will want to find one that does not have K*ds that she needs to get home to. If it is your first time you will probably need to spend a few days to find a good one. If you speak Spanish and can dance Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, I would hit Key Largo, Jazz Café, and Castro's Discoteque and try to find one that is more of a part time worker. I do know a few ladies that I would have asked to go on a multi day trip with me but that was after I had been with them a few times and got to know them. As far as price I would pretty much figure on 100.00 per day plus their food and drinks, also if they do have K*ds ask what the baby sitter is going to charge and pay that too. About 10.00 per day for the baby sitter plus a little for food is reasonable. Also let her know if she does not behave you will send her home on a bus and stand by those words. I thankfully never had an experience like that as I already knew the girls but there is a possibility that you get her out of town and you find out she is not as fun as you hoped, ie drinks too much, has lazy attitude, sleeps too much or just plain bitches too much......

well it just might be possible it has something to do w your personality as well as establishing some sort of connection w the girl.
if the extent of your conversations is hola y cuanto then chances are you aren't going to get much more then a pedestrian clock watching experience no matter how long you stay w her.
as others said be careful w your choices because LT has a big downside.
OTOH it also can be a lot of fun w the right girl and a decent connection.
if a girl likes you she might look at the time as a welcome break from the grind and let her guard down a bit.
on you to establish the rapport.
when you think you have a candidate just bring it up casually that you are thinking of heading to the beach and watch her reaction to that.
then you can listen to her suggestions etc. providing you can understand each other.
imo the money should be the last thing you are discussing but determined prior to embarking.

Thank you all for the good advice. I hope I am able to find someone I can strike a deal with for the entire day. As far as places to hangout during the day time, I did some research and did not come up with places that were very interesting. A movie maybe a good option, but other than that there is the museum, which is not something I would prefer to visit with a chica ;) Beach and coffee plantations seem too far and may need prior planning. Any thoughts on hangout places?

Ask her take you to Cartago, and go sightseeing, the Basilica up there is incredible and has quite a history.

I could spend an easy couple of days walking around up there and checking out the history and architecture along with many bars and restaurants. Or take a day trip to Poas Volcano which is quite fun but you will do a lot of walking/hiking and make sure you bring a windbreaker as it is often cool and misty up there. You will want to get an early start though as it takes a little while to get there. Once you get there though you can go inside the museum and get coffee and food before you hike up to the summit. Also on your way home hit the fruit stands and buy some Palmito cheese and strawberries.
The movies are mostly all in Spanish so be prepared for that, also if it is a new release you have assigned seats and the best ones go first. Make sure to get the Carmel popcorn though. You cannot get much info online for the Cineplex's locations and the movies they are currently showing.

Another thought is to ask her if she has a driver she would suggest and have her ask how much he would charge you for being your driver for the day.

You are so correct on that statement.
That would be a great question out of the blue to her. So how long have you two been together??? That would be one of those priceless moments with her reaction.

I have been to Poas and agree there is plenty of walking. Cartago seems to be closer and I have never been there, so that seems to be a better option. Thanks much for the suggestions. I also recall buying either plum or pomegranate wine on the way to Jaco few years ago, which I really enjoyed. Maybe i Should hunt that down while I am there this time.

If you go to Cartago there is a really good parrilla "La Casona de Cartago" at 300m E del Puente Bailey (Ruta 219), Cartago, that I like to go to when I am in the area. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the quality. Make sure you are hungry though.

all good comments, especially the baby thing, , ive had lots of drama because the little one was hurt or got sick, , kills the vacation cause she needs to go home now.
Take a day or two in San Jose to pre trip your chica then , go explore the country, Hey give me a call, I drive CRTs, Jaco is basic, La Fortuna and Flamingo Beach a bit farther, You might make mistakes but that's how we all learn.

I can't help. I get bored with them after just a couple hours.

Unless you can communicate, and actually have something to talk about (if you're 60 and she's 20, you won't), what are you going to do the other 23 hours after you are done phucking each day?

She will be bored stiff and be on her cell telling her friends how much of a bore you are. :P
