Really, you do not own the building. Is the brand really worth that much. Even at Costa Rica prices you maybe have 50-70,000 worth of used furniture and other items.

Impossible to know the value of the business without a careful and complete review of the accounting/financials and a clear understanding of the business model. You are buying an operating business that may or may not generate the income and cash flow to justify a certain level of investment.

The owner wants $375K...the prospective buyer will have to determine if that is a good price. Good luck to both parties! I have a feeling that a lot of emotion and dreaming goes into the equation....in this line of business...JMHO

I hope Jimmy can get the price he wants for it and the new owners are happy with a fun business in CR

No I don't own the building but I have a 10 year lease with an option to extend.
The value is is in the licenses which you can't obtain on that corner as my next door neighbors are finding out.
The business is doing very well net is about 10k a month and I have about 60k in the remodel and another 50k in inventory.

The price is fair if someone buys it great if not I'm still making $$ so I don't care either way it's still fun to own

So the licenses are grandfathered to the business and the new owners would not have to have new ones issued. That would certainly make a difference in the value of the business especially if CR went ahead and tightened the belt on new licenses being issued like they were talking about doing. Just another quirk of doing business in CR vs the US.

Yes, I have the grandfathered licenses that are transferable to the new owners
