I find myself griping about Sprint coverage quite a bit, but I have to give them kudos on this one...

Sprint Launches Free Unlimited International Roaming, Unlimited Texting and 20 Cents per Minute for Voice Calls When Traveling to Latin America, Europe or Japan

Eligible countries for International Value Roaming are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Germany, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Russia, South Korea, Spain and the United Kingdom.


I just signed up for it, which is free. You can ask them to just keep it permanently active on your account. All you have to do is turn off "International CDMA" (on the Iphone). Pretty sweet deal.

Sweet indeed but note that the speed is limited to 2G (very slow) though faster speeds are available for a price with other plans they have. Here's more: http://www.sprint.com/landings/internat ... oaming/#!/

They finally caught up with Tmobile... of course Tmobile offers 3g roaming :)

I looked at the T-Mobile 'Simple Choice' plans yesterday. They look good! I'm seriously
considering switching from AT&T, who I've had for many years.
