I read this on another post from earlier today from the King himself, so it must be true. He said Quote: Now I have a non working GF and I don't even have a desire to pull anything out of the DR.
This is front page material here at the CRT Times. This is like that Tsunami....it ain't supposed to happen. King Costa is the king of the No-Novia rule. Say it ain't so King C! The LAL guys just lost their hero! Are there any left over there on that side of the fence? She must be a very special girl....and I wish you the best. I just wish you would spill the beans here, even though I assume that ain't gonna happen! |

All right Astro.... Busted Key word here is NON WORKING. I still maintain my position on DR "GFs". Those of you who know me will understand why I choose not to do the DR thing any longer and wish to spend my time in CR with a special person. The experience has been elevated to a whole new level of peace and enjoyment. I still enjoy renewing my friendships with many of the guys who I met on the board. You will still see me somtimes at the happy hour table. I expect to take a crap and ridicule for this based on my perceived negativity towards the guys getting hooked on DR chicas. Astro.. as you stated before in a previous post.. I just don't like to see well meaning Gringos becoming suckers to DR chicas acting like they don't work when they have half a dozen other guys on the hook. As I have told many guys who enjoy Costa Rica that it is really not very difficult to meet a non-working Tica that is looking for a nice Gringo who appreciates all the qualities that they have to offer in return for all the things a quality Gringo can offer them. Experienced Gringos probably know that many Ticos treat their women like garbage. Age diffence doesn't mean much to Ticas which gives older guys a shot they would not likely have in the US. I certainly understand why guys like the DR scene but after over 20 trips I was getting tired of the scene anyway. Some of the board guys have met my GF and all agree that she is a special person. |

Congrats KC. As posted on another thread, my Colombiana GF turns 40 this week and has never been sexier or happier in her life. Most of the locals here know I havent pulled anyone out of the BM in a LONG time. Regular GFs give better mental stimuli than young 20 yr olds from the nearest slum. Nothing against them...I respect them for what they have to do to get by in this life with no other outs. But for me...I need a bit more than just physical stimulation for a GF experience. Obviously you are there too. Now I wont be sitting alone at the BM while the other buddies are chasing the 20 yr old pros around the bar

No, mi amigo, I don't think you will take any crap at all. I always believed you were sincere....in your negativity. When I called you cynical, you bristled at that. You preferred the term "realist." I think you are that also...and your attempts to warn guys away from the Puta stories was out of a sincere desire to help. With 20 trips under your belt, you have seen it all, and could see the signs easier than some of us newbies. I am now coming up on trip #11, and I am just beginning to learn what you tried to warn me and others about. I agree with you about the non Del Rey ticas. I am now working on several of those "deals" right now, and I hope they work out. I do believe the Del Rey ruins virtually ALL chicas in time. It is a shame and I have seen it happen in 6-7 months time. It is foolish to try and develop a relationship with one of them. They are not normal....and are not real. Their ability to lie and manipulate is legendary. If you can find a real one outside that twisted environment....go for it. Sounds like you did that, and I wish you nothing but the best. Just give an update, now and then! |

I think it is great to follow your heart. When you find that very special person,it is normal to want to spend your time with her. I know,because I currently have 4 of them exactly like that. lol Seriously King,go with the flow, and enjoy this segment of your life. |

Joluko I appreciate the positive feedback on my posts and I am happy you have benefited from them... However, the King is stronger than ever. This leads me to share my thoughts with you and other board members about comparing the DR experience with a true non working Tica GF in Costa Rica. IMHO most of the guys I have met are really looking for more than banging away at a group of hard core DR chicas. They speak about a GF experience as the ultimate goal and always have to face the reality that it is just a fantasy. My last trip many of the guys were disgusted with the chicas and would rather go home empty sometimes than spend their hard earned cash on these BS artists. If you take a nice chica and put her in the DR for any period of time they usually become so jaded. In fact, they have learned to lie to the gringos when asked how long they have worked at the DR. They realize that gringos are looking for relative newbies and in some cases even tell these guys that they just started working when they have worked for years. If you understand just a little bit about the culture and speak some Spanish I don't think it is very hard to meet a non working girl. If you take a single mother making a paltry living working in a store on Avenida Central it is not hard to image why they would not want a nice gringo boyfriend to treat them with respect, help them out financially, and provide security for them. Why not spend your mornings and afternoons hitting on some of these chicas? The worst that could happen is you take them to dinner (which is cheap anyway) and not give you sex. You always have the DR as a backup. Those who know my GF will confirm that she is a very nice person with a good heart that was seeking much more that just a gringo to spend money on her. She was sick of way Ticos treated her and wanted a Gringo boyfriend. Now I have a great friend and companion to share my time with. Trust me, the King is alive and well and loving life. |
