Truly sad news.
Scott was a great guy with an outstanding sense of humor. We always enjoyed the countless photos that he shared with us. A true CRT gentleman of first class.

Gentlemen,

Scott was a good man with an incredible sense of humor. He was a gentleman. I loved it when he and Latino Heat would make their trips here in San Jose.

I knew how sick he was but he had told me he was beating the cancer after the original surgery and the chemo. This is a tough blow. He will be missed here at Sportsmens Lodge and especially by me personally.

One thing, Scott was not a smoker, he picked up his lung cancer another way, perhaps second hand smoke? but he did not smoke cigartettes.

Very sad news :(

I distinctly remember some 11 years ago on one of my early trips to CR, having breakfast
at Hotel Presidente' when Latino Heat 69 joined me. He said, he had meet a really cool
member of CRT named PacoLoco. From there the hilarilty ensued. Their frequent bickering,
bantering, picking, poking, and prodding of each other as well as other forum members is
what kept me logging in regularly, just to keep up with their antics and have a good laugh.
Paco's wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.

Condolences to his family, friends, and CRT Brother's who new him best.

I wasa member on that same trip to Panama and also spent time with Scott in CR. Truly a kind spirit and a pleasure to pass time with.

Hermano, you shall be missed.

Just read up, very sad to hear. I know him and MG were the biggest info of posts to learn the CRT way. I hope you find much peace and plenty of chicas on the otherside!!

Rest Easy,

This is very sad news. I was unaware of his passing until this morning when I received a PM.

I read every post and am glad to see an outpouring of love for this man. He really deserved being remembered for the great guy he was along with his contributions on this and the former CRS venue.

Many of us go through life with our travels and making new friends. Only a few etch a vivid memory in our minds...Scott was among the creme at the top. As others have posted, I never saw any negatives about this man. All were very positive for this man who loved what life bestowed on him.

His humor, satire and reflections on travel to CR and other monger destinations are classic....especially his assotiation with Latinoheat....another stand up guy.

Too bad we don't have a "wall" where there are plaques displayed honoring departed members of recognition...Scott, Pacoloco, would be at the front.

My prayers go out to his family. I will indeed miss him.
