EDITED: Cops asked a Nica if she was there of her own free will. Also, cop count inside estimate is now 50 after a closer look by my friend. More maybe outside.

Update I got from Nica there is they took their passports and have to go to immigration on tuesday? Out of curiosity what happens, do they get deported then or just a hearing of some sort?

It's not a raid, it's an immigration papers check.

If it was a raid, you'd be face down on floor in zip tie cuffs until it was determined that you are doing/did nothing wrong.

Curious, do they just check everyone in the lobby and bar area or are they knocking on every door of the hotel?

I missed it. I left at 9:00 to go to Castro Bar and came back around 12:00....The place was still hopping. I didn't even know it happened until a nice Nica I picked up told me. I wouldn't of minded seeing the action though. My Nica lost her passport and was real upset about it. I didn't know they just give it back though.
