FYI, My friend is stuck at the Del Rey. 100 cops per his texts. Won't let the Gringo's leave but interviewing girls. Just an FYI if you are on the ground. Keep your ID with you if you are in town. If anyone has confirmation, please reply. I've asked for a picture to confirm. EDITED: Cops asked a Nica if she was there of her own free will. Also, cop count inside estimate is now 50 after a closer look by my friend. More maybe outside. |

Update I got from Nica there is they took their passports and have to go to immigration on tuesday? Out of curiosity what happens, do they get deported then or just a hearing of some sort? |

It's not a raid, it's an immigration papers check. If it was a raid, you'd be face down on floor in zip tie cuffs until it was determined that you are doing/did nothing wrong. |

I missed it. I left at 9:00 to go to Castro Bar and came back around 12:00....The place was still hopping. I didn't even know it happened until a nice Nica I picked up told me. I wouldn't of minded seeing the action though. My Nica lost her passport and was real upset about it. I didn't know they just give it back though. |
