So im living in this crap little apartment full of loud mouthed Texas gringos right,

so I put up with Their noise daily, they wander around the common area Yelling orders CRT ?, So OK Ive been here 7 weeks, I am surviving, hot water seldom works and so on, But NOW management gets personal ! YOU WOULD NEVER GET THIS FROM upscale joint like SL !

Second hand gossip is Im too fat, I'm wrecking the joint !, now yes I agree I broke a window first week but you have to understand the construction of this Costa Rica shit. The fridge door is always open, so it leeks, the instant hot water seldom works
tv is the cheapest china crap i have ever seen, so far 3 times break, Sorry I am fat, that must be the reason , I can go on but for $ 500 what do you expect.

But my point here is the Discrimination that has been shown, I know im a big guy too bad, I pay what I break. but the mother phucking management cant use that as a talking point. cant say im GAY or Negro either,

I can empathize with your rant, amigo... but maybe it is time to move on from your apartment.

Well - what do you have to say for yourself?

My post cries out for answers - you will help yourself by looking at what you are doing and how you are conducting your life - are you drinking too much - are you a fat slob - are you a dummy who did not do the proper research before moving to Costa Rica - these and so many others need answers

I'll give you the good news - while you can't fix stupid, you most certainly CAN fix being over weight, and over drinking

I see you making friends with many friends of "Bill W" in the near future - if you don't know what - or who - I'm talking about - rather than advertise AA meetings - like on board a cruse ship, or in other venues - they put a notice saying that there will be a meeting/gathering of "Friends of Bill W" at such and such a time - he was the founder of AA.

Now.....take some stock in your life, BUTCH UP, and quit the drinking and other assorted stupidity and blaming annoying, stupid Texans for your problems - although its tempting.....

(I've often thought a particularly severe hell would be to listen over and over to loudmouth Texans tell me over and over again how great things are in Texas - for all eternity ) -

AND LEAVE THE FRIDGE DOOR CLOSED AND STOP BREAKING WINDOWS - JESUS, YOU ARE ANNOYING! Get your shit together - you can do it



PS One final point - while my grammar and spelling is seldom perfect, you posted the fridge door "LEEKS"

A leek is a vegetable - a LEAK is water or other condensation coming out of the fridge - I am sure you were drunk when you posted so I understand.

I'm old, fat, and drink too much (on vacation).

I am personally offended about the discrimination, by many, on this board due to old age/fatness/and excessive drinking.

I had a great time in CR a couple of weeks ago (I think), in spite of my age/fatness/drinking!!!

Too many Americans have learned to claim some type of discrimination whenever they are not treated the way they like or are simply offended. The right to NOT BE OFFENDED isn't in the US Constitution nor does our Constitution have anything to do with CR. I'm guessing landlords in CR can rent to whomever they choose. Just guessing about the CR landlords' rights to rent to whomever since discriminatory practices based on nationality are widely accepted in CR. A perfect example is higher prices for non CR residents.

Mitchy has a good point, but his example is NOT perfect.

In Florida, Disney has higher prices for non-Florida residents. There are other resident/non-resident price differences in many places in the States.

The US Constitution prohibits discrimination for only certain reasons - - - - race, gender, religion, etc. If you want to discriminate against fat people or blue-eyed people or smokers in the States, you'll have no problem with the law.
U.S. employers now are often discriminating against fat people and smokers to keep health insurance costs lower.

But I, too, guess that CR (and the rest of the world) has much looser anti-discrimination laws than the States.
