| I'm generally sort of skeptical of any shortened link I see on a board, but that was actually pretty solid. I'm a big fan of duolingo. It's taken me from "I speak no Spanish" to "I can sort of read a newspaper really showly" in about a month. I spoke French when I was younger, so there are a lot of cognates that I get from both English and French. Biggest challenge is the physically speaking words with the accent right. I like the http://www.languagetransfer.org/ Spanish program as well. It's basically done as a dialog with a big focus on "how do you take what you know in English and use that to learn Spanish" approach. | |
