Well, new info is they've closed the Irazu National Park temporarily so my suggestion is no good

Turrialba volcano erupted last night and some ash fell as far as the eastern San Jose suburbs. There has been a warning issued for aircraft to stay 20 miles from it...San Jose is about 30 miles west. For all you guys in San Jose right now, if you have a chance, take a trip up to Volcano Irazu. From Irazu, you get a great view of Turrialba. http://www.ticotimes.net/2014/10/30/cos ... ba-volcano |

Wow, I never heard of that one. I will be staying right near Arenal in December, hope it don't blow too, like Jimmy Buffett once said " I don't know where I'm gonna go if the volcano blow"! |
