I was reading some things on another website and couldn't find any suitable translation that made sense in context. Can anyone help out with translating a few words? I have a feeling they are slang which is why they wouldn't translate online. Thanks in advance.
chantes
tuanis
el polvo
wila
guila
mae
culiables
chamaka
piernotas
You are 100% correct - most of these are Tico (not Spanish) slang. In other words, you won't hear these words outside of Costa Rica, and Google Translate will have a hard time with these.
Please note that without context my translations to American English may be inaccurate:
Chantes = homes (as in "my home your home")
Tuanis = cool (as in "he's pretty cool")
el polvo = the act of sex (as in "The sex was great")
wila / guila = chick
mae = dude / dudette
culiables = fuckable
chamaca = chick
piernotas = great legs
So you probably read something like, "De regreso a mi chante encontre a una wila muy tuanis, la chamaca tenia unas piernotas y estaba bien culiable, tenia unas ganas de echarle un polvo, mae" or something along those lines.
