Post subject:  Poker anyone?

With the rising interest globally in poker and especially the growth of online poker sites, we are wondering how many of our members would be interested in a weekly game and fellowship over an online poker game JUST for CRT members? We have a couple options to host a table if there is enough interest. Could be a fun and even profitable way to interact with each other on a regular basis...and still chat in real time about our favorite chicas. To gauge interest, we will publish a couple polls to get feedback from you all...feel free to post comments or suggestions on this thread. Thanks.

It wouldn't let me vote for more than one option but just about anytime is good for me.

I was playing on Party Poker.com just last night.
I tried to get back into Ultimate Bet (my preference) but I couldn't get any of my credit cards to actually let me transfer money into my NetTeller account.

Do you suppose they knew what it was for?

Actually since they were all denied in about 2 seconds I think NetTeller was just trying to get me to use their money transfer service. I didn't have any trouble using ePassporte thru PartyPoker. Interesting.

11 responses...only takes 10 for a full table. Now if we can get everybody at the same time. Also interested in what stakes everyone is interested in playing? Most online rooms have free games, $1-2 limit, $3-6 limit, $5-10 limit and various levels of NL (No Limit) such as $100 buyin no limit. Then there is the choice of game...Texas Holdem, Omaha, and Stud. Most people these days know Texas Holdem it seems...so that should probably be the standard game. Thoughts?

Played 2/4 holdem in Vegas and loved it. I will be available between 1/26 and 1/30 for some poker and poke-her fun.

"Hold 'em" would probably work best.
$1/$2 is a nice game and will keep guys from losing their stake and dropping out.

Not much sense in having a "fun" game if guys are leaving early.

Sounds good, I like N. L. but any game will do.

Agreed. Count me in.

We should make it so that the winner/kitty goes toward a free lay at Zona Blue.

I'd love to play, but I'm on a Mac so I can't play on Party Poker. I do play Pokerroom.com almost daily.

Count me in, I think the lower the stakes the more likely players will continue to play. $ 1 or $2 stakes sound good to me. Let me know when and where and I will be there.

$1/$2 or even .50/$1.00. When I play online, I end up +-$20 in an hour or so. Considering we'd have so much to distract us, the lower the better!

Count me in randomly.

Witling...use Firepay. They are based in Montreal, and don't care how the
funds are used or where they are going or coming from. I've used them
for over two years to fund a couple of offshore betting accounts. The money is taken directly from your bank account, with a small transaction fee. I used Paypal at first, but they eventually stopped all transactions involving betting sites. What a bunch of f*cking hypocrites the government is! They allow and encourage state lotteries, many states have betting on horses, but sports betting,
even with offshore sites, is against the law. Ridiculous.
