Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a CLARO booth in the airport where one can buy a microchip? I know Kolbi has one in there, but it's been awhile since i've been through the airport.

I have a pretty strong feeling that Claro is NOT at the airport. Kolbi has at least 2 kiosks there, and I suspect that Kolbi has a monopoly at the airport.

Screw getting a chip...get whatsup app for your phone 99% of the girls have the app , get your wings to have it as well and all for free ,,,,,, all you need is a Internet connection and your all set ,,,,, no need for aphone in san jose anymore

I have whatsapp and use it more than anything on my phone. Trust me, i've been to DR, CR, and Honduras recently and all the latina/latino's use it. I haven't met one that doesn't (who have smart phones). However, i am not asking for a chip to call people or text people. I'm one of the few that come to CR for other things other than chicas. I want a microsim; so no matter where i am i can whatsapp someone, update facebook status, get my emails, etc. I don't want to just count on being in a wifi spot. I want to take a selfie on a bus to Guapiles and instantly post it.
I know Claro has a big new store down there on the main walk way by The Presidente. I guess i'll just go to that one and get my chip.

My two cents…. I had Kolbi for a couple of years and worked fine while in CR. It expired on me, so I recently purchased a Movistar SIM. To my surprise…. Movistar worked here in the USA…. whereas, Kolbi did not. Movistar seems to use TMobile and ATTs network here. That is a benefit for me to make quick calls to CR phones right before traveling.

OMG, have you seen the Kolbi blonde at the airport.. man she is one fine chica.. when I arrive tomorrow I plan on getting minutes from her and asking he out to dinner and maybe mas..lol

Where is she? What paticular kolbi booth at the airport? I know they have one uptop and one down near baggage claim. I'll be coming in tomorrow also.
