Does anyone know if the prepaid sim card shop at airport is open till 10.30 pm? If not, where can we buy sum cards near HDR? And, finally, does anyone have any recommendations for getting a sim with little of data plan for a week or so? |

There's a Claro(southside) and Kolbi(northside) on Avenida Central and Calle 7. 1 block south and than 1 block east of the DR. cheers, Attila |

Each carrier has number to text to get internet by the hour, day, or week. I use (and love) Movistar. If I am away from wifi I simply text to 606 and put DIA (Day) in the body of the text. They will deduct the fee from my minutes balance. |

Attila and Sea Breeze Perfect responses by both of you. Movistar does seem like an incredible deal. Wow. |

WhatsApp is very popular with the chicas. Another app they use is Tango. You could voice, text, and video for free with wifi connection. |

"Way to go" Jeff !!!! Thanks. That's a good service that we all can use. A SIM card and a blow job. Who could ask for more than that? Unless it's a haircut and a blow job without getting out of the chair. ![]() |

If Jeff needs a haircut....... I do NOT want to know where. But I would like to know where the magic barber is. I've heard about her. I don't think that she's an "urban legend." Supposed to be good service (both ways). Supposed to be nearby in the gulch. Maybe somebody on here knows her location. |
