knowing where you are would help. There is a Lavenderia (laundry service) that provides exactly what you need on Ave 2 between calle 7-9 on the south side of the big street.
From the delray, for example, go south on calle 9, cross avenidad central and cross ave 2,
It is about 6-7 stores in

I found the one on AV 7, next door to bank BCR. They were closed at 10:30am but open at 1:30 when I walked by.

Hey there, I think the business is called sixacola, or something close. I found it about a year ago on a trip down. There is also a little bar about three doors down on the corner, good place to kill a bit of time if your laundry isn't quite ready.

Forgot to mention if or where the elevator is--I sure as sh!t ain't walking up 3 flights of stairs with laundry. Know thy audience.

I think the name is Sixaola, I used the place a couple of times long ago when I was staying @ the Prez. Prob named after the little town on the Carrib coast near the Panama border.

I think that whoever posted under Greengo's name is an impostor. :D This is how the real Greengo would have written: Go towards Escazu... turn left at the cumdrunk glue sniffer sarape wearing product of feces eating system lying in the way... many regrets...Avoid sidewalk pothoes...Careful up the stairs...this house goes on sale every Monday morning...taken off the market in the afternoon...Bring lots of multi-colored funny money bearing pictures of cumdrunk politcos...If you get lost...go ask Alice...probably a cumdrunk tranny sliming on the nearest corner...when she's ten feet tall.

Dropped off my laundry at the place on ave 7 about 10:00am and the chinese lady that runs the place put my bag of clothes on a scale and said 4 kilos, 7000 colones. and handed me a receipt with 4:00pm on it.

I showed up at 3:45 and my clothes were ready and folded and placed in a plastic bag.

All good ! :D

I too have used this service. The lady is very friendly, and the laundry was well done and on time. I didn't use them on my last trip since laundry is included in all inclusive at LA, but otherwise this would be my next go to place.
