Damn...sorry to hear that. Just a few days ago, Hector from the NY Bar passed away, and now Bobby from Papi's. Indeed, he will be missed. Buzz...didn't you see him when you were in CR a couple of months ago?

It is unclear at the moment what will happen to the bar. Rumors are afloat, as they always are. Aside from mourning a decent guy, Bobby, this comes only 2 days after the closing forever of Joe B and Karen's bar.

At the moment it's unclear when and if the bar will re-open. One rumor is that Xinia will inherit the bar and another is that Bobby has a couple of relatives in the States who may inherit an interest in it. The bar is closed as of right now, the day of Bobby's death. If I see it reopen or hear of it reopening, I will pass along whatever information and rumors I have. Gringo Gulch loves its rumors.

Thanks for the info Bilko. Was Yorleny still working there?
I didn't know that Joe B and Karen's was closing. Michael and Marta don't want to run it?

I didn't know that Joe B and Karen's was closing. Michael and Marta don't want to run it?


Mike and Marta had been out of the picture at Joe B's for a year or so. Yorleny can be found at Sportsmens now.

Bobby died of a heart attack. There will be a sort of wake for him at the Poas Thursday, probably early evening.
