Did anyone else recieve this??? yep I received one also from somewhere in Iowa I think. I just deleted it without opening it!!! had no CRT emblem, nada!! If it had really come from Admin I would think it would have been from California and we would have been notified on the site ahead of it being sent. |

Two Lifetimes getting this message? Doesn't pass the smell test. Sounds like that outfit that magazine publishers sometimes use. From Red Oak, was it? Mag publishers warn of these outfits too. Be cautious... Maybe we can sic S1 on them... |

Many of us have gotten this email. I copied and pasted the email and sent it to Admin1 for verification at around noon yesterday. He has yet to respond. |

bummer, I haven't gotten one yet. I make it a habit to open all of these emails and click on every single link inside. The popup offers to repair my system for a measly $100 are priceless to me. I always take them up on their offers, but I play it safe, and only give them my bank account numbers, and my social ... if they ask! ![]() |

I got one too, but simply deleted it without opening it. I just figured it was a e-mail trying to get me to "Like" us on FaceBook! ![]() |

I got one of those emails today. It does seem a bit fishy. The email came from costaricaticas @ weber.com (without the spaces I added). I looked at the @weber.com website. It says that it is a service for emailing. It looks like it COULD be for Admin to send out his newsletters but I wouldn't recommend giving them any info until Admin chimes in and verifies. In my mind, if it is from Admin, it's not too swift for him to have emails sent from a 3rd party without a giving heads-up. |

What Western said plus those of us flyin' the flag especially the encrusted flag (Lifetimes) are being semi-insulted. My best guess is trying to determine who's still an active member and who can be culled (a marketing maneuver for the advertisers?). Point is, if you've paid Lifetime dues, you are forever (that was the promise) and should never be asked to re-affirm, much less get side-lined. Repellent. |

I can confirm that the email list is genuine. This is an opt-in email list, which will replace our previous CRT Email list on Feedburner. We are using Aweber because it does not require the difficult to read CAPTCHA for the sign up. The email list is totally private and in NO way related to social media. We are also using forum handles instead of real names. Those who opt-in get an email message whenever we post a Tica of the Month, Article or News. This is the same material that appears on the front page of the website. There is also the possibility of doing special updates, just for the VIP Members. I apologize for not posting a notice in the forum, but the opt-in requests were sent sooner than we had expected. Also, they are going to members on on a staggered basis. If you opt-ed out by mistake, thinking this was spam, then you can using the following link to get back onto the list. http://forms.aweber.com/form/87/1833694587.htm The list is totally free, private and we NOT share your contact information with third parties. You can also unsubscribe at any time. I can also confirm that the email list will remain RFM free! ![]() |

Hey Gentlemen, Just wanted to chime in. The email you are receiving regarding the CRT mailing list is legitimate and it is coming from us. This is the email update we are sending out to let you guys know about new sponsor discounts, site updates, etc. This is an opt-in email list - which means if you'd rather not receive the email you can simply say no or not opt-in. But these emails are coming from us and if you'd like to continue receiving CRT news please opt-in using said email. Thank you! |
