It took 4 months, but I just got back from Western Union ($100). I have to confess it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.
She is visiting Mom in Panama and e-mailed me that the ropas for the ninos are very cheap. How could I say no?
Only problem is, I'm supposed to be with her tomorrow night. The consolation is- What better place to be when stood up than the BM-KL?
Please forgive me Astro, I know I have sinned........but we all knew it was coming.

I do not recommend sending money to chicas in Costa Rica or anywhere via western union. The problem with sending money to a chica with Western Union is....once they figure it out, it is like crack to them. Then they invent more excuses to need more dinero. Also, the fee charged by WU is exhorbitant....$22 bucks to Costa Rica...each time you do it.

I would never send money to a Del Rey puta in this method. We pay them to screw them, which we can't do if we are not there. The only reason I have sent any money to Super K is because she did not work at the Del Rey and I never wanted to see her go there and be ruined by it.

If you really do want to support her and keep her out of the Del Rey, a better way is to create a separate savings account with it's own number and get an ATM card and give it to her. Only put money into the account when you want to give her something. I can do it online for no charge. Then when she goes to the ATM to take it out, all I am charged is a $3.00 cirrus international fee.

Just make sure you tell the chica only take out the amount you tell her to take and no more or less. It is a good way to testing the chicas for their honesty. SuperK was so excited about her new ATM card that she took out money 7 times in two days, costing me $3 bucks each time. Two of the deductions were for less than $5 bucks. I don't think she was trying to rip me off....just wanted to show off her card to her friends. I didn't like that and broke up with her....she promised to never do that again...so I took her back.

BTW, SuperK was shocked when I told her I knew every time she went to the bank and how much she took out. SHe had no idea how all this works, but with online banking, it is almost immediate...so I can track what she does with it. Again, I never put more than $100 in the account at any time....and I never paid her for sex when I was with her...they were all "freebies" although I ended up paying her in other ways.

I have only done this with one chica....and only because she has never worked in the Del Rey. I do not think it is a good idea to send money to a working girl. After all...they are supposed to be working. When Cristal asked me for money, I told her to go back and work at the Del Rey. I am not going to be paying a Del Rey chica while I am away and some other guy is banging her. It is different with Super K because she is not a working girl....I am her only chico (so she says) and I don't want her to start working there.

But she has now told me she does not want any money just me. That is so sweet. :oops:

My motivations are different. I am not trying to keep her out of the DR. on the contrary, I would prefer her to go there rather than ask me for money.
The only other time she asked for it was back in Sept. and I said no. Later, I found out that she was really telling me the truth about her 3 year old being in the hospital for an extended time and she was spending all her time there and taking care of the other ki*s. I felt like a shit for refusing to help her then. I knew if she asked again, I would send it.
I won't let it become habit forming though. So far, I think I've gotten a lot of mileage and still look forward to being with her but if I feel I'm being worked, I would not be a happy mongerer.

I admit I have given conflicting answers to this question, because I am a bit conflicted right now. Everything I said is true. I believe we are all mongers at heart....and need multiple chicas. It is in our nature and it is what draws us to CR. So if you do develop a Novia....but plan to just visit the BM, I think it will be very difficult, if not impossible. I remember sitting at the BM with my novia Cristal...watching the flesh go by. Cristal was muy bonita, and I knew I had her all night....but it was like torture to sit there.

As for this SuperK thing....I broke up with her after she claimed to break her arm in a car crash. I told her I thought this "te amo" stuff was bullshit, she really loved the dinero not me. I really meant to end it.

Then she called the next day in tears and begged me to reconsider. She assured me in VERY convincing tones that she loves me for me....not the dinero. To prove it she said she would never accept another dollar from me....she would go back to work at the Disco...selling cervezas. She was adamant about it, and went on for 30 minutes telling me how it was not about the money and all she wanted was me to come back to CR and sleep with her in her bed....and she would give me all the sex I could handle.

So I took her back. But that does not mean I still don't long for the BM. I still plan to go back for a few visits, make some MP runs, and hunt for new bee hives of activity in Alajuela, the suburb where she lives...where Ticas abound and want to screw me. In fact, SuperK's next door neighbor has already promised to screw me when I return with SuperK's blessing.

So my advice is still the same....be careful about having a novia....and don't think you can walk back in to the BM and just look. It's like asking a starving man to walk past a steak dinner. Can't happen.

My suggestions is that you stop paying for EVERYTING... and see how long the love affair lasts.

Do things with her as a Tico would, and see where you are.

Enjoy it for what it is... a relationship with a puta. Albeit one who doesn't work the bars.

And I agree... he IS a GREAT writer. I love reading his trip reports.

Also... I didn't mean my post to come across in a harsh way. I'm having a migraine, and I know that sometimes my writing style can come across as blunt-- even without the migraine. ;)
