What's the best casino to play at? Is it fair rules? Are there cameras? Is it 24/7? I enjoy playing blackjack with my buddies and having some drinks in between my sessions. Staying LA next week |

Staying LA next week Colonial (next to Del Rey) is a good casino. Mona Lisa is a good casino. Forget Del Rey, they accuse you of cheating if you win any serious money and boot you. Sore losers. Make sure you are playing blackjack and not Rummy, which is almost identical, except they don't automatically pay you for hitting bj, the dealer can pull 21 and push. And if you win, you don't get paid 3:2, it's only 1:1. There are 'eyes in the sky' but they are not as advanced as the systems in Vegas or A/C. They sometimes go and check it if there's confusion about whether a player hit or stood. Or bet size. |

Thanks for the info. Are these places 24/7? Do they let you play in dollars and cash out in dollars? |

All casinos I have played in take both , just a heads up about rummy it is different than bj you have played , my advice watch for at least a shoe, then play low stakes, there are rules that that are a plus for the player but you must know what they are, you will be pissed the first bj you get and not get paid. |

I think the latest casino hours are 11am-5am. It has changed a few times in the past couple of years. It used to be 24 hours, but they limited it a few years ago. |

Orange says: Forget Del Rey, they accuse you of cheating if you win any serious money and boot you. Sore losers. I remember once I hit them for about 500 pretty quick and said Phuck it. It was prime chica time and I didn't feel like cards. Cash out. They jagged me around for about 20-30 mins, we need this guy, that guy, jefe, go sit at the tables and we'll bring your $$ ![]() |

Yes , you are correct.....they have played " close the cage " on me many times and I play games with them as well, back in one of my early years I hit for 2200 on the tute table and I was concerned the eyes of evil was well aware that I made a score ,,,, I asked if the cage could store my chips/ cash and get a receipt for it and pick it up the next day so I don't get killed walking back to the morzan with it ,,,,, they said no we dont do that......right then I fully understood what a bullshit casino the delrey is. |

Last time I went (August), the ML game was very lively every single day. Don't know about DR. $1/$2 NL and $2/$5 NL Same rules as you play anywhere in the US, except same crazy players who have more money than brains. I saw a guy with almost $800 with a pair of kings. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
