Many 1st timers are concerned about where to meet up with the CRT members. I thought this would be a great topic where we could put our two sense in aside from the obvious meeting spots.. I'll start with the 3 I know..

5PM Happy Hour at the Del Rey... Near the Windows accross from the Monkey Bar... (Look for VegasBob) Our Chairman of this chapter...

830-1030 AM Breakfast at the Rail at the Presidente... You get all sorts of characters during this hour on both sides of the Rail....

10:30PM On Thurs, Fri Sat Nights Back Bar at the Key Largo....

Anyone else have any ideas????

How about between 9 and 9.30 am at Zona Blue? It seems there are always a few early "risers".

Lounge at ZB.

Every time I've been to ZB- if there's a few guys back in the bar/sofa lounge hanging with the girls I always introduce myself and ask, "CRT?"
They usually are members...

That is true about ZB. On the last 3 trips there have been crt guys on each visit. Maybe we should begin a mid day happy hour. Is there cafe open yet?

So, I guess the 'high sign' is just to ask 'CRT?' I am living in San Pedro now and would enjoy sitting at the feet of the high lamas, to absorb some wisdom. Does the Del Rey meeting happen every day? even Sundays? I may come down to see tonight.

If you go by the rail during breakfast and say CRT Bilko and I am sure you will find guys there daily.

It’s a Bar that is directly across the street from Del Rey…. Not the Casino Entrance side but the side entrance into the Blue Marlin Bar….

On my last trip all the BM gals were required to Purchase One beverage at the Monkey Bar Before they could enter the Blue Marlin Bar <Both owned by the Same Owner>, not sure if this B.S.Graft is still going on…??

JB you bring up what was a very controversial topic at happy hr. one night. The girls would come in the BM, show ID and security guy would send them back out-over to the Monkey bar, where they are required to buy a drink, then bring the reciept back and show it to get in the BM. VB was very outspoken about this BS- basically it being an admission charge for the girls (guess the owners aren't making quite enough money  ) and I agree. Pretty shitty policy IMO making the girls go spend two bucks on drinks before they can get in to work so they can make a living. Don't know if they just do it certain times of the day or what...
One argument was they are trying to get more people at the Monkey bar...

Yes JimmyDR there are lots of guys who are at the presidente but crt members can be found throughout the gulch. The members that I have met are all standup and are more than willing to help a fellow monger out for NOTHING in return.
I have heard through the grapevine that in the Dominican Republic some fellow mongers take advantage of newbies. They insist on the newbies pay for all dinner and drinks for them in exchange for assistance in finding chica, hotels, etc... Some even get kickbacks from chicas and start sex vacation parties to make a considerable profit. Have YOU ever heard of or seen such things in your travels to Dominican Republic?

This is an outrage!! I have been picked up by mongers and have gone around with them, We get tax free meals at select restaurants, everyone in the party, not just me. Finding hotels, well they are all listed on the websites, no secret hotels. I could spend 24 hours of everyday that I am in DR showing mongers around but I am on vacation ALSO! 8)

I never had a problem finding CRT members but now I have purchased two CRT Polo shirts, so I can just lean back at any bar or restaurant and let people find me.

Seriously, I don't think there is a problem. The BM at 5, the Presidente for breakfast, KL late at night.
